This by a major pro. I agree with Mike Johnston on this one.

It's not that bad...in fact, it's better than the guy's D700 "sample print".

Well, I'll hold comment on the photo because I've always thought that Annie Leibovitz was a bit overrated and primarily gained her fame by who she photographed, not the quality of her photographs. She has some interesting post processing (does anyone know if she does that herself or not?) and most of her Vanity Fair work could be done by most of the photogs on this forum

I'm not a Leibowitz fan, either, but this is really so over the top it's funny. Someone in the comments makes a good point that as a commercial piece, the concept probably was not hers, but considering the power she seems to have in the photography world I would think she'd have a problem with the tacky Photoshop work the art department ordered.

I'm think I'll steal this concept, but I'll substitute fat men for the babies. Yeah, that'll work!

Not been a big fan of hers, especially since the Miley Cyrus thing.. but I agree with the "bad" name.. but I really hesitate to apply the word "photograph" to it.

Just because it started as a photograph doesn't mean the final result is a photograph. Maybe that makes me a purist.. but as far as I'm concerned, there reaches a point where it stops being a photograph and starts being a graphic art piece. Nothing wrong with graphic art pieces, I just hate seeing people call them photographs.

Ok.. I suddenly feel old... and grumpy.

Well if a photograph is good, shouldnt it good regardless of who it came from ? as well as if it were bad then to your opinion its a bad photogrpah not because its from soandso? actually its not bad picture, I like it. There will always be some one to knock some elses job or work and think they can do better, hency why you leave a aloa plant at the entrance of your house ... 8)

I dont consider this a photograph, this is a photoshop post production piece of crap. Alot of people now think this is photography, it does take ability to really manipulate PS but this is just crap. Too many people are considering garbage like this photography. I feel photography is what you capture with the camera, not the magic tricks you do on your computer. A little processing to fix some minor mistakes is ok, but I must remind you all that this IS GARBAGE!!!!

It's not THE worst, but it's pretty bad.

Not the subject, placement, or even post processing that gets me. It's the shadows/lighting - they don't match.
OK, and the pretentiousness. But then again 95% of the glamour/perfume ad crap in mags these days are the same pretentious drivel and schlock.

It's VERY "italian", but not the worst by far. I like a few of the other calendar pictures.
