Honestly I am listening to Ian Moore's earlier stuff and other blues type artists getting my house ready for one hell of a tidal surge and storm.

I am listening to police and aircraft scanner. Keeps me up on what the scumbags( the crooks, not the cops) are doing locally.

Yeah, I keep the scanner on low scanning the North FW area, but also just let iTunes roll in the background... Mostly country and classic rock.

You can hear events as they happen before the news comes on. You hear a lot of things the news doesn't tell you.

My scanner is set to trunk channels Smith Co Fire, the 6 Smith Co Fire Dept channels, Tyler Fire Dept and ETMC EMS Air Ops.

Just picked up a call for a stabbing. There was a fatal car accident this afternoon. Always hear the emergency landings at NAS. Can tell you where the radar traps are set up. Pretty busy most of the time.
