Hi you all!

Just came across this ad:

http://www.online-employment.net/fbphoto.html

I wonder, if anyone tried to earn money this way between more challenging assignments? Basically, is this true of fraud?

fraud? probably not

realistic? not really. All of the"services" you would be paid to provide are typically done by the seller's agent already and as part of their existing fee structure. Most real estate agents are somewhat capable of operating a "1 megapixel or higher" digital camera (ie, cell phone) and a tape measure. They aren't going to split their fees with a pro or semi-pro photographer just for better pics. I sure wouldn't.

These are documentation pics, not glamour/marketing pics. They just want to make sure the object they are lending against/accepting as collateral exists and is in the general stated condition. Cell phone pics by a part time real estate agent are more than adequate.

After doing a little digging I finally found a truthful review of the program and he really explains what you have to do.

I have included the guys post for another forum that follows.
I tried this so I know what the deal is here. :

It's actually a collateral inspection setup. A company is hired to go out and find the car, boat, house, equipment, or whatever and do an inspection. You give the person who is delinquent on the loan a legal letter stateing to get in touch with the loan company. The pictures you take of the property are sent via a computer report which you complete and turn in to the company you work for.
Your an independent contractor, most of the locations your sent to are not very safe, unless your in the country. Your contacting people who are behind on their payments and usually 1 step away from repossesion, you need to get contact info., verify work, and so on. If you don't get or are unable to get this info., then your agent does have an option to send back out to try again without paying any extra for the added trip.
Pay is normally around $30.00 for a radius of 30 miles. Add $5 for each 5 miles over that. So if you have 2 stops to make within 30 miles of home, your looking at $60.00. Promblem becomes when 1 stop is 20 miles one way and the other stop is 25 miles opposite of your home.

To me it just wasn't worth the headache and most of the people I felt sorry for as you could tell they were doing the best they could with what they had.
Then at the the other end of spectrum, I did get threatened a couple times.

So that's the short story on that.

From what I have read it's not a scam. They do give you some useful information. However, it's information that you can get for free if you are willing to do the research.
