82 degrees in my office these women going through the change are killing me. I have got to get the AC guy out here. I am roasting.

I am going to have to bring shorts to work in pretty soon.

sounds just the opposite as in my office today. It's in the low 60's in here and the AC keeps kicking on.

the lady next to me has on two jackets, is wrapped in a blanket and has a space heater on her feet.

I just alternate sitting on one hand keeping it warm, while typing with the other and then switch out occassionally

I used to work in the server room - so it was expected there. All my servers have been moved to another building and I got moved to a back corner of the "big building". I f I go out of my cubby section and go about 30 feet I can feel the heater.. And the rest of the building is comfortable, and upstairs they complain about being too warm.

All I can be thankful for is that they are moving us all to a brand new building next week. So we shouldn't have this issue. This building is on (what used to be) Kelly AFB. It was built in the 40's and isn't the most energy efficient... not to mention I think this section is as add on. We don't have a floor above us. Just a big empty space with no insulation other than the masonry between us and the elements... brrrr

OMG! I can COMPLETELY relate. I work with "more mature" women and they are all constantly hot.....and then cold. I'm either roasting in my office or shivering with my jacket on. And when I make a simple comment like "Boy it's hot in here today" they jump down my throat and bash me for not going through "the change" with them. "Oh, you young'n! You have no idea what's in store for you. Just you wait...."

Hmmm... I hope I die before that happens then.

The tempature in our computer room changes from hour to hour, it gets hot hot... then really cold, then from freezing to really hot. Repeat the cycle through 12 hours of work No wonder why so many people get sick here!

Thankfully, no many ladies in this room, and none is going through 'changes'

I feel for you guys! Our office is constantly about 65 - 70.. Just one huge datacenter, and I wear shorts, tshirt, and flipflops daily! =)
