My GF is a singer, and was apart of a group that recorded songs at a church for the church's members.

A couple of the singers got upset when they were asked not to come back due to tardiness and bad attitude. So they asked for royalties on the CD that was sold at the church.

The director was complaining to me about this and said that it cost more than they even brought it, but the church paid for it and had money so it wasn't a big deal.

I told him to calculate what it cost them to produce, offer them a 10% royalty and then send them an invoice for 10% of the losses.
