There will be no wolves here in Collin County. The commissioner's court will see to that. I live in a rural county north east of here and it is nice hearing on my scanner how slow they are. When they do get calls they are good calls. No "there is a dog on my porch" or "I have a snake in my yard" calls like we get. Our call of the week a couple of weeks ago was a woman that called us because "someone" had moved a rock in her flower bed a couple of inches! Shall we say just a scoshe 96?

When I first moved to Sachse I used to listen to the scanner for information on the weather nets. I also programmed in local emergencey services. I almost fell on the floor laughing the night the horses got out of the pen. Apparently the owners went to dinner an the latch did not catch.

I also helped my neighbor down the road get a calf back into the fenceline one morning. Dang Corvette got all pissy and drove around my truck and almost hit the calf. Would have served him right, too.

Back to guns, I'm guessing that S&W 500 Mag and S&W .460 would fall into the "almost" category?
