One of my favorite parts of this story. That Twitter user, jkrums, had said in one of his blog posts that one of his resolutions for the year was to have 1,000 followers before the end of the year. Right now his count is over 2,000.

I don't understand Twitter. If you update and post up photos from time to time, how do people even know how or where to find it?

Two ways...

1) Go to the twitter search page and put in something that's happening currently in the news, like "inauguration" or "plane crash":

2) Tweets like that spread like wildfire. His friends re-tweeted his message to their friends, etc etc etc. Like an email forward, but in real time.
