I have bought three things from a Circuit City store ever. A 1GB Sandisk Extreme II CF, a tripod, and a MP3 player case. I did order my 16-80Z and 50 f/1.4 from thier website when I had a 10% off coupon, but they haven't even been matching Sony's MSRP lately.

I've actually gotten some good deals from CC. Not very often, but I saved about $130 on my laptop a couple of months ago. Hope they have better close-out deals than Comp USA did.

It is some of the same liquidators, so I am not expecting much.

The one by my house closed at the end of last year... there weren't really any good deals to speak of during that store closing liquidation. I hope the rest of y'all have better luck.

CC is Crap and has been for a long time. They just couldnt compete with stores like Frys, or Amazon.com

If I recall correctly Circuit City owns or is owned by CarMax. I avoid CC like I avoid used car salesmen.

Amen!! I stopped when they fired everyone making over $8 per hour. Hope senior managment likes the money they saved

They want to make the customer feel like your getting a deal!
