Anyone want to take part in a new cause..."Adopt an Ohioan" It was -14 here this morning in North Ridgeville, Ohio, it is -7 right now, and it is going down to -12 again tonight! Good news is that it's going up in the 20's tomorrow! Please, someone in Texas take me in! |

I'm sitting here at the ski slopes in New Mexico (Angel Fire) and it was 40 today and its about 20 right now (9:30 pm). Perfect weather! Snow - I love the stuff, once or twice a year. Y'all up north, you can keep the same snow that falls in October until March. Yuck. Here it would be practically historical to keep snow on the ground for a week. |

Driving in snow's not too bad (if it's not too deep), mostly just take it easy with brakes, gas, and steering. Ice, on the other hand, is a killer. (I used to live considerably farther north than Dallas... :) ) |

Yeah, birds are pretty smart when it comes to cold weather. That why, 20 years ago, I took a cue from them and flew south. Just decided to stay . . . --------------------------- The things we regret most in life are not the things we have done, but rather, the things we didn't do. . . |
