What to do?

Hey folks! Was wondering if some of you can please help me out. I got an e-mail through Airliners.net about a picture that was posted a few months ago. Here it is:

"Dear Mr. Harris, we are the monthly issue Volare,
Editoriale Domus Milan Italy, for our number of February 2009, we
would like to publish your photo.
Please let us know, as soon as possible, your prices and what is the highest resolution available at 300 dpi and send us
the photo by e-mail in high definition, as a JPG at 300 DPI dimension with a base of 40 cm.
Please send the photo to the following e-mail address: volare@volare.org

I have know idea what the picture is worth, or what I should charge. I really had no intentions of making money with photography. I only sent the picture to Airliners.net for other people to look at. So, what should I charge, or should I send the picture to them at all? Maybe with what happened last week on the Hudson River, I will get a few more requests. I'll attach the picture so you can have a look. Thanks in advance!

$500.00USD for full page editorial usage in publication up to 10,000 subscribers.

Send it to them full res. with the bill attached. If they use it that will be their agreement to pay the fee.

I usually charge a hefty fee for consultation, but you get the first one free.

Looks to be a publisher with multiple magazines which started in 1928 in Milan Italy.

Like Tom said, $500 is a decent rate.

I tried to find what their circulation is but I don't know what the audit bureau for Italy is which would have circulation numbers but I would hazard a guess that it may be larger than 10,000.
