Question College Campus Photography - 01-25-2009, 12:52 PM

Not sure this belongs here but I know it doesn't go in wedding discussions. Anyone know what the rules are to shooting senior portraits on campus at TWU or UNT or any other DFW college/community college for that matter?

Last time we shot at SMU, they charged a $200 location fee.

There might (might not) be differing rules for private universities vs. public universities. Your question made me curious about UNT (my alma mater), but there's nothing listed specifically online. Probably contact the office of University Relations, Communications and Marketing to see if they know. Here's contact info. here.

I shoot at TWU quite a lot. The only time there might be an issue would be if the area was reserved for an event. If you show up during a wedding you will be asked to leave the area around the Little Chapel in the Woods. You can call the events office and reserve a time for $25.00 if you want a guaranteed time. I would not show up on a Saturday in the spring or summer and expect to be allowed to shoot in the gardens near the chapel.
