Thanks everyone, and especially Joe for noticing and posting this thread. TriCoast knew we were being interviewed and then the chance at the cover but getting it and then seeing the image they chose out of the approximate 100 we sent them was quite a fun treat to say the least.
Our "Red Wall Bride" is an older session but still one of our favorites and of course our most popular ones thanks to
Collages.net taking several of the images and running with them. Needless to say both our bride, her family and us are truly pleased and NEVER thought we would be where we are today.
From
- A part time photographer in the fashion world
- Fulltime CSI Nerd and Weekend Warrior in the Wedding business
- Growing our business while running the CSI division (I mean I shot dead people in CSI world and dead people walking down the isle, same thing right)

- Then full time photographer shooting weddings, seniors, families and even school portraits
Needless to say my life has been interesting and I must say I am happier now than I have ever been.
If we can do this ANYONE CAN PEOPLE!
Remember though, through your journey of photography you will ALWAYS have haters, it is what they do, they just love to hate and be angry. People are not happy with their life, especially with newbies coming into the business (even though I have been shooting weddings since 1993) so they will always hate others to make themselves feel better about themselves and their life. Stay ethical, honest and respect others in the process no matter if those people are the ones which are the haters. TriCoast is BY FAR not the most talented photographers in the business, not even remotely close we just got a few lucky breaks along the way, helped out some friends and in return they helped us out in the process as well. Without these friends and our strong belief in sharing with ANYONE who asks about ANYTHING we can help them with, we simply would be another photographer hanging out at our local guild meetings. Now there is nothing wrong with that but I feel knowing TriCoast we could do so much more by assisting and helping out others in the process. Yelling at the new photographers coming into the business and then wondering why you are loosing money is never a positive way to handle any business be it photography or anything else.
Remember to ALWAYS change yourself, educate yourself and learn from everyone you can.
Thank you everyone once again it is truly one of our greatest honors to be on the cover of this magazine and remember
Studio Photography is a FREE magazine so if you have not signed up for it yet DO SO, it is FREE EDUCATION EVERY MONTH of the year and that is something we simply can not afford to miss out on!!!
