Old photos - let's see them - 02-05-2009, 09:09 PM

Found a couple of old family photos (me) that were really faded and messed up. I scanned them, cleaned the up a little in PS and ran the NIK filter across it (which did the most good).

Me at 4 years old in 1968. For about a year, I used to dress like this everwhere I went, even school.

Me and my brother and our cat "Colors". I think I'm 9 and my brother is 4 in this photo. He was almost as big as me and we are 5 years apart.

Post your old photos up. Let's see what we all looked like when we were young and innocent.

So David, was the 4 year old outfit your choice?

I have a bunch of old photos on this computer. Give me a minute to decide which are the most embarrassing.

I thought maybe you grew up Amish!

And, yes it was my choice. I'm not sure why at that age I decided I had to wear a tie, but I did.

I have a daughter who has worn hot pink cowgirl boots and striped tights for three years, and a son whose wardrobe is all camo, all the time. So I understand.

I have worse ones... there is one of me rollerskating in my underwear and one where I'm dressed like Daisy Duke.

Kelly, that is so cute.

I have another one of me in my diaper wearing a cowboy hat standing in an old steel tub in the yard of my grandparents. I'll have to see if I can find that one and scan it.

Tom, that's not you! ;-)

Guam, circa 1969. I am about 3 years old. My sister, seated next to me, is about 1 year old. My Mom made the clothes we are wearing, and she is the photographer. I cleaned up this photo in Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.

Hawaii, circa 1972. I am about 6 years old. I'm holding my little Kodak camera as far from my face as my arms will let me, knowing that I cannot get my camera far enough away for me to take a good self-portrait.
