A Long time ago I met then boxing champion Larry Holmes (he has HUGE hands, I wouldn't even want to think about getting hit by them)
Back in college, still a long time ago, I met Rob Zombie (and his band) in a strip club in Las Vegas.
But the most memerable experience was making Robert Plant a cheese steak and fries one night after his concert in Boulder Colorado. I was pissed that I had to work and couldn't go to the concert, but afterwards the waitress came back to the kitchen and told me to "make this order really really good, it's for Robert Plant!" I didn't believe her at first, but I actually got to walk out front, meet him, and serve him the Cheese Steak and Fries I made for him.

I had a former mayor of Houston tell me that I "must have a really great camera.." after a slide show of some of my pics.
(sigh....)

I had Tipper Gore, and a bunch of feds on the plane back when Al Gore was running for president. And I flew Jean-Bertrand Aristide (the ousted president of Haiti) down to the OAS meeting in Nicaragua, back in the early 1990's. They literally rolled out the red carpet for him when we arrived.
Oh, and when I was a kid, I met Hoyt Wilhelm and got him to autograph my baseball glove.

Yes, I smiled politely (we were at church, too!....), said thanks and took it as a compliment which is (i hope) what he intended......

I was hanging out with Jeff Bagwell last week...well, I was standing next to him at the urinals. We had a good conversation - he asked me to move so he could get a paper towel after he washed his hands...
I work in the same building as one of the major fm radio stations so I see a lot of the "new" singing stars coming in to plug their latest albums; although, frankly if it wasn't for the screaming masses of teenagers that occasionally show up, I wouldn't even realize that they were famous.

Folks I have met while photographing them: John Wayne, Bob Hope, Charlton Heston, Dan Blocker, Phyllis George Brown (Miss America), Shirley Cawthran Barrett (also Miss America). Richard Nixon, George W. Bush, Rick Perry, Allen Keys, Oliver North, and a bunch of other Politicians. Former Dallas Cowboys Bill Bates, Jay Novacek, Chad Hennings and Drew Pearson. We did Terry Bradshaw's second wedding and Vern Lundquist, Bill Dance, and several other of his sports friends were there. There are probably some others that I don't recall right now.

I'm in the movie HUD, filmed in my home town Claude Tx. Sunshine Christmas my whole family was in it, also filmed in Claude Tx. And most favorite is Jay North the original Dennis the Menace used to work for me when he was in the Navy onboard the USS Dixie AD-14. We became good friends, but I lost touch when he moved to Florida.
