I had it several years ago and caught it again. Makes you thinner. Well your wallet any way. :)

Stages of needmorestuffis....

Stage one....initial camera purchase....

Stage two....purchase of extra equipment...usually only a couple of hundred...

Stage three....That lens is not that bad.....(1000 to 1500)

Stage four.....That lens is not that bad.....(2500 to 4500)

Stage five....I need three more bodies for the lenses I purchased....

Stage six.....Where did all these bags come from...I have to fill them up...

Stage seven.....Withdraw.....you withdraw all your money for that extra lens...

Stage eight....Most do not get to this...stage...(usually due to outofmoney syndrome associated with needmorestuffis)

Stage nine....Significant other (PC) tells you to get rid of everything, you have to much...

Stage ten....You start over at stage three...due to outofmoney syndrome is solved from selling all your gear....

Never ending cycle....

I have NAS (Nikon Acquisition Syndrome) very badly right now. I have on my want (no, lust after, must have, cannot afford) list: 300mm f/2.8 VR, and 400mm f/2.8 VR.

I really like using the ND filters for waterfall shots; it allows you to have more flexibility over aperture and exposure time. It basically acts as a sort of "greying" filter.

Digital Photo Professional (should have been bundled with your XTi) is great for converting RAW files and doing initial adjustments. I haven't shot a JPEG ever since moving to RAW!

I think the technical term is "Empty Wallet"...because you're always emptying your wallet of cash and hiding the credit cards from yourself.
