I just couldn't turn this baby down. I found her on the side road of the freeway. I almost hit her. I had her checked for a micro chip but she doesn't have one. How could I say no to this face? We have named her Reba because there was a Reba McIntire song on the radio when I got her int he truck. And she has a full vet screening this weekend. We think she's about 4 months old.

I have a permanent soft spot for anything that looks anything like a Basset.

Spoil her rotten. She deserves it.

Thanks for stopping to "adopt" such a cute little dog, I am sure you will spoil her rotten and I think she is fully deserving of it too.

Oh Erin...what have you got yourself into. The hardest thing I had do to still haunts me. We had two dogs, the twins were barely not even two, the next one, was only a few months old. I am going to the vet..with the three children and the two dogs...just invision this..one child in the carrier, two children barely walking and two dogs trying to get at every other dog in the vet office.... I came home and told my husband somebody in this house has got to go. We got rid of the dogs. It was hard...but I just couldn't do it all....

I think we can do it. The cool thing about our vet is she comes to us. We have an alpaca ranch so it's a lot easier to have the vet come to us. So she checks out our small animals every month while she's there to check on the big animals. It all works out. I think the hardest part is going to be house training her.

She's adorkable... looks like maybe an odd cross of a beagle and a bassett from this angle...

(I think that makes her a Bagel)
