I sat next to a SS at a Washington Nationals baseball game last 4th of July (the President attended) and not only was the guy cool, he knew a lot about the team. Had a very funky looking Blackberry as well (or at least it looked exactly like a Blackberry). He kept holding on to his umbrella (retracted) and I kept wondering if there was something "James Bond Cool" about it....

SS, FBI and the like are really good folks. Just look up what kind of qualifications they require and the training they have to go through and you will appreciate all of them.

The last SS guy I met was when I was taking tickets at the HGCA gun show. When I first saw him his appearance just screamed "serious professional law enforcement type you don't want to mess with". The rule is law enforcement in uniform gets into the show free. He shows me this really cool SS badge and asks if he can get in. One look and I tell him "Enjoy the show!".

If you're legit you don't have anything to worry about with those guys.

Scary thing is that the house is pretty vulnerable someone with explosives strapped in a vehicle can run the stop sign and be at he house in about ten secs. I talked to a buddy of mine hes a Dallas Swat, he said yep and within 5 secs someone would be out of the house next door with a grenade launcher lol. Bush's house is titled to a Trust in Midland,

SS story: I had an opportunity to work in D.C. right after 9-11 for 6 months. Hotel was block from White House and saw SS all the time. Fast forward to about 2006: ended up unexpectedly at a B.Bush book signing and who did I see? -- one of the SS that I saw working in D.C. !! Was going to say something to him but figured I might not get home that night, so I kept my mouth shut, met Mrs. B, got my book and my autograph and went home!! But I think about this often.
