Selling cookies is an experience that the girls are supposed to have in order to earn their badge. It's not something for mom and dad to take to the office and pass around at work. |
I totally agree with you but I have to admit I still brag about when "I" was the biggest girl scout cookie seller in Utah (well, our troop anyway) the 1st year my daughter was a Girl Scout. I worked in a large office. Mormons don't support Girl Scouts (they teach too much independence) but they love the cookies. Heck, I didn't even sell 'em. There were a couple of Mormon Admins who took my order sheets and brought 'em back in a couple of days completely filled and asked for more! I did make the wife and daughter bring them into the office and deliver them. Filled the entire back end of my pick up truck!! I still drink out of my Girl Scout insulated mug at work ... and my little Girl Scout is almost 29 now!
