i suppose i should clairfy - this was someone that i was employed by - on an off and on basis over the course of a few years. we became friends. i worked for him - then he hired me to do a family job. that's what the issue is about. they hired me - never paid me. i asked for the money after several months - and they badmouthed me. it's ok though - i'm so done with this person. i'm sure they are aware of it as well now.

You know what ....Janet..people like that have a crappy life. They never can sit back and relax and enjoy life. They know they have always done someone wrong...I actually feel sorry for people like that.

I try not to lend money to friends or family. I did it once, never asked for it, but what got me was they came back for another loan. That's when my "evil" side came out. Everything came out, no holds barred. Heard that they bad mouthed me, when confronted, denied they ever said anything like it. I just keep my distance, really defined a realationship that I thought was solid.
