I got several attempts purchase a camera I was selling on craigslist. They wanted to pay with paypal and offered up to $100 extra to ship it to West Africa. Sounded way fishy to me.
I only sell to someone local on craiglist.

I got the same thing for bikes I was selling along with a toro reel mower. Sounds like craigs list is full of scammers.

Never had a problem when selling something on craigslist. Foosball table, ladders, monitors, sex... I mean... uhhhh... nevermind.

I love craigslist. I had one bad experience of someone telling me they were on their way and then two hours later emailing me to say they aren't interested.

I agree scam, as for Craig's List, knew someone who wanted to buy furniture through an an ad on Craig's List, it was cheap( they're a college student not a lot of money). Told them not do it. Took them to Ikea instead. They're happy.
