FREE Photography Seminar - 03-22-2009, 09:39 PM

... at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, Texas.

I posted this in the wildlife forum but thought I'd post it here.

So...

The folks at Grapevine Bass Pro Shops have asked me to come back again so I thought I'd extend the invitation for you guys to come join me on:

March 28th @ 3pm
March 29th @ 1pm

In the past, the crowds have been great and it is a cool opportunity for me to get to meet some of you guys.

In preparation for the seminar, I want to teach what you guys want to learn, so:

If you had to ask anything about photography or videography, what would it be?

If you've attended before, I hope you'll do so again so we can catch up and I always try to make each seminar different from the last so expect the seminar to be a bit different.

Also, if you've attended before and have good feedback, I'd love to hear that as well so I can pass it along as promotional bites back to bass pro.

Thanks!

Russell

I was there last year and will be doing my best to attend one of these sessions this year.

It's a very comfortable setting and always a treat to listen to Russell's advice. His explanations are not always the "obvious" answers but still easy to understand.

It's a low key setting, almost like sitting around talking to friends with the benefit of a slide show of amazing photos. Best thing about Russell is that he'll tell you every detail of the shot - how he set it up, what he shot it with, settings he used and issues he faced.

It's not just for wildlife photogs, it's for anyone who wants to get a lot better.

Russell's one of the very best photographers TPF has on its membership list and a good guy to boot.

Thanks for that awesome endorsement, Joe. Like Joe mentioned, it won't be all about wildlife photography and am devoting some of the time to flash photography as well as working with models.

Thanks for your interest.

I've been to one of Russell's seminars and it's very well worth your time. I'd be there this weekend, but my son races this weekend and we'll be out of town.

If you're close, go. You won't be disappointed.

I heard a rumor that if you were wearing a TPF t-shirt Russell might buy you an ice cream cone.

I heard that rumor just now, because I am starting it....
