I Am Sofa King We Todd Did!

I got home today and needed to start processing photos. I sit down at my desk, wake-up the PC, navigate to some MP3s for a jam session, click on some songs and NOTHING! No sound.

No worries, I must have click the mute button. I check the PC mute button. NOPE. Then I check WMP mute button. NOPE. Oh....I know what it is...it's the mute button on the external speakers. NOPE! What the heck is going on? I crawl underneath my desk and check all the speaker wiring. NOPE, wires are fine. WTF is going on? Could Windows 7 (7057) being failing? I open Device Manager to check for any conflicts with audio drivers. All is well and nothing wrong in there.

Now I am stumped, frustrated and pissed off. I'm suppose to be able to fix anything PC. Right before I'm about to give up and leave my office, I look down towards the front of my PC and notice........the headphones are plugged in!

a girl in my office used to somehow mute her pc...and never ever check it...and would question why she couldn't hear anything

only after I said the title slowly and outloud did I finally get it. A shocked glare from the wife as I said it slowly and outloud was another clue.

lol thanks for laugh...did something similar "dumb" (said with love)....got in the car and was talking to a client ( luckily a very close client) I told her she keeps cutting out on me and I will call her back if I loose her, I lose her just as leave my street I click to redial her and notice I was using my house phone....uhh DUHHHH
