They are on the Leno show right now.
She is so off pitch, it makes my underwear ache.
Plus, she is butt ugly to boot.

I think that there has to be issues with leno's area - I've heard bands on there that sound horrible - that I've hard that were way better.

I think whoever the 'sound guy' is = for the bands that sound horrid = might be the issue.

I know what you mean about sound men. I've been frustrated by so called experts for most of my professional music life. But, this was beyond technically flawed. It was just UGLY !!
I'm not thinking about them any more. I have to go and listen to a bagpipe choir now to get them out of my mind...

No, having seen her in person, I wouldn't blame anyone else for the sound. She was the opening band for someone a few years ago and I kept wondering why, oh why?

The track on her web site is ten times better than what I heard last night, but this girl is tone deaf for sure. the recording has been altered to get her nearer the pitch , but it ain't close enough.......
And, her concerts are almost always sold out.... go figure.

I wish I could remember who she opened for, but it was a big act - maybe the Stones????? I was very surprised that she was the opening act after I actually heard her opening act.

she opened for U2 in 2001. You probably saw her open for U2.

Evanescence is about the same quality live. They sound great looped through a computer a couple times.

I had never heard of her until now (my husband and I are in our late 30’s and listen to alternative rock). After reading this thread I pulled her up on “Space” and listen to part (what I could stand to listen to) of the songs she had on her page. She sounds WORSE live?

No doubt. (agreeing, not the band, although they are probably the same)

It amazes me sometimes how BAD bands can sound live. Sometimes it is the setup, but sometimes they just alter their own suck out of the CDs. Kind of like false advertising.
