looks like a normal telephoto lens. probably 200mm f2 or so.

He's holding a large DSLR with a battery pack, but it is being held sideways.

It's hard to tell, but I can tell you that this lens is fast due to the diameter of the hood.

Yup. It's a Nikon of some sort with a battery pack. I guess the lens hood threw me off a bit. The whole thing must weigh a ton. I wonder what the lens diameter is 62mm?

That one has to be at least 82mm.
