Brings up that many times photos that you may see are not what was shot, yeah we are used to seeing colorized photos from the period but what was done to this one could be the extreme end. I can see the authors point of view that it was probably done for commercial purposes but really changing the clothes and putting on the beard to me is a bit much kind of like removing a big scar from someones face now with ps.
