Ritz update - 04-02-2009, 03:32 PM

Got a message in my e-mail about the Ritz store I'd ordered prints from closing down. That was the store I'd expected to stay open; from an outsider's point of view, it was busy a lot of the time.

Does anyone know of any clearance specials they'll be having? They were always to expensive to buy equipment from, but I would sometimes pop in there to buy a few rolls of film whenever I needed some in a pinch.

Thanks!

Strange! The 2 stores that I have used, Hwy 6-Copperfield and Town & Country are staying open.

There is one on Bay Area and one right across the street in the mall. I thought one of those would close, but both are staying open.

Not a single San Antonio closure; in fact, they are building out a new store on the north side.

Alas, the Clearance Center in Dallas is closing. I used to hear good things about that place.

Todd,

Which store are you referring to? Since you live in Fort Worth, I assume you are talking about one of the FW stores closing. I sure hope it's not the one on Camp Bowie.

Well the Clearance Center used to be the Pro shop for Wolf and then Ritz killed off most of the "pro shop" services and a lot of the inventory and turned it into the clearance center but there were still good deals at times. Guess I'll have to give it a visit and see what is there.

That is good news! Probably the better stuff from the stores that are closing.
