Yeah, most Nikon owners do with they could have Canon lenses.

is he using a 100-400 on the other body? I guess for an afternoon game that would be fine, but i just dont see it much in sports. More of a nature lens from what i thought.

Based on the lens hood, I would guess a 70 - 200.
