When entering photo contests, does the name of the photo have any bearing on the contest? Meaning if you have two photos that are the same, one has a creative name, one doesn't, does the creative name win out?? Or is the name just a name?

Depends on the judging criteria. I'm a creative person. If I was a judge it would matter unless I was instructed otherwise. I remember an award winning photo of my dads'. It was an image of a Saint Xavier football player blocking a punt to seal the victory. I still remember the title "Saintly Gesture".

To keep it anonymous, most contests don't have any info with the photo until after judging is over. No name of photo or photographer.
