Ok, I really don't watch American Idol that much anymore, but I've caught Adam Lambert's perfomances a few times, all of them incredible, but last night's performance was chilling. This guy is AMAZING! I said that about Daughtry, but I think this guy is even better. He did Mad World by Tears for Fears, and he did it better than they did. i havent watched last nights episode yet...it's on the dvr...what i like about him...is he's always got something new to bring to the stage! he's really good. i wont be surprised if he wins.

Yeah, he seems to. You def. need to watch last nights performance. Even the way they lighted it was perfect, and he was sitting in a chair, and got up during one part of the song, and omg, it was just perfection.

did you see last weeks performance of Smokey Robinson's Tracks of my Tears? Justin played that dang performance on his iphone at least 3 times a day. I was like give it a break!! It was good tho.

I'll watch last night's tonight while the results show records! Lol!

Sorry...the guy just kind of creeps me out. And I couldn't stand the way he butchered Ring of Fire.....kind of made me sick.

But to me it sounded like he was doing a cover of Gary Jules version of Tears for Fears "Mad World".

I agree about ring of fire... For me it wasn't that his version was that bad it is just a song you don't mess with.

As for Adam I am a big fan. My wife doesn't seem as impressed by him as I do, but I just like that he is not afraid to step outside the little pop idol box.

I also like allison and I liked megan before she went but other than that I am not impressed by that many this season.

I actually loved his version of Ring of Fire. I hate American Idol, but my wife watches it, and I was reading a magazine when he sang that and he immediately caught my attention. He hits those highs perfectly. And you have to remember, Johnny Cash did the exact same kind of thing with Nine Inch Nails 'Dirt' and some others. I think even Johnny would have liked it. He's the only idol besides Daughtry that really makes me want to listen to him, and I would put him above Daughtry as well.

I just heard the Ring of Fire song, and yes, it was weird, but his voice, omg, and I actually liked his version. It was very modern, true to him. He puts his own versions to songs, and it's funny. First, they tell you on there to be original, then they tell you you shouldn't mess with a perfect song. But, he did his own thing to it, and you may not like it like the original version, but you have to look at it in this day and time and style of music that is out there now days. Ok, that was a run on sentence. Anyway, I think he is one of those on AI that is just way above everyone else. I also like that girl that reminds me of Kelly Clarkson. I heard her first a couple of times and thought wow, then Adam came on, and it was like, OMG!

Yeah, I tuned into to Fox to watch Fringe and caught Adam's performance. American Idol ran over 10 mintues and I'm sure it screwed up a lot of DVR recordings of both American Idol and Fringe!

I never watch American idol but I was really impressed with his version of Mad World and agree with Leslie 100%. They had some excerpts of the other performers in those last few minutes and the only one that was impressive was Adam.
