Drove in the other day after picking up the kids, and when we entered our subdivision, two HUGE hawks flew off whatever unidentifiable item they were eating and flew up to sit on a basketball goal. My first thought was get home and see if our little dachsund was still there. Will hawks eat a dachsund? Or other dog?

Maybe with a bun and some mustard.

From WikiAnswers.com: "Hawks eat all sorts of small animals like rabbits, mice, hares and even small birds. They also eat squirrels, frogs, snakes, and other animals. Hawks can also eat wheat plants, snakes, owls and other sorts of things."
