I love "up to two photographers." I wonder how much 1.5 photographers would cost ...

Dang... *hangs had*....why'd you have to go and call me out like that?

*grin*

Actually - when I was pbing - I posted a few ads on CL for free sessions... I needed warm bodies!

But they aren't making any money doing that are they?

Well to each his own. We can laugh at the ad but some photographers are serious about such offers because they know that the market is saturated and the only way for them to build a decent port is to offer really cheap packages, worse offer them for free.

Hehehe, sorry Andrew didn't want to sound too serious but I've been there and I know how it feels to be ridiculed.

Rarely am I truly serious on TPF. It is an outlet for my inner sarcastic smart-arse.

have you ever considered that not everyone has $1500, $2000, or $2500 to spend on photos....and often times don't need that level of photography that those prices deliver.

Yep. Nobody should expect a Mercedes on a Kia budget. But at $150 ("for up to two photographers!"), that Kia is going to be severely dented with no wheels or engine. There is such a thing as getting started, and then there's such a thing as probably should find another line of work until you know enough to price your work to earn a profit, or at least have work worth charging for.

To revive an older thread: "I just bought a new camera! A photography business is born."

True, as bad as I look I wouldn't pay ANYONE to shoot pictures of me... even I don't want to look at pictures of me...
