Let's Talk Covers ...

I am a huge fan of covers of songs. For instance, one of my favorite cover bands is Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Pika and I groove on their punk renditions of all kinds of music!

Which leads me to this post. If you like covers and/or online music, check out the cover of While My Guitar Gently Sleeps by The Drowners. Love it!

I just upgraded my duvet cover to a 550 thread 100% count cotton.... does that count? I'm big on fabrics....lol... gotta feel good.

Actually - I must admit to being a really crappy visitor of places with live music. With a 12 year old and a 21 month old, my night life, other than editing, and the occasional date night with my husband (usually movies/dinner, or coffee/book store)... we haven't hit the music scene for a while.

And several of the 'cover' bands that have been 'cover' bands for groups I 'would' hear... have turned into major artists on their own... which I just love... (I have VERY eclectic tastes when it comes to music.... did a quick look at my Ipod... and I currently have: Patsy Cline, AC/DC, Tracy Chapman, GooGoo Dolls, Conway Twitty, Colbie Cailat, Blues Brothers, Enya, Shania Twain, Trish Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Mercy Me, Journey, Stephen Chapman, Nicole Nordeman, Darius Rucker (Hootie & Blowfish!).... lol...
