I've heard that there are some awesome fields of wild flowers in the Texas Hill Country. Seeing as how I've never been there, is there anyone that can give me some tips on where they might be or how to find them? I've got some ideas for a model shoot and am looking for the right location. Not this year. You need to look in an area that hasn't been in the exceptional drought category. I've heard east TX around BCS is better. I've been out to Fredericksburg, Johnson City and Blanco down to San Antonio a couple times now, and there are just small patches along the sides of the roads in a few places. Even if there were some good spots this year (and there were some down there), we're nearing the end of the spring wildflower season. Time is not on our side! |
