Question DSL modem and wireless unit - 05-01-2009, 04:14 PM

I'm looking to move to one unit to handle both DSL connection and wireless network. If you have a particular brand and model that you're happy with, I'm all ears. It must be compatible with AT&T DSL (if that matters).

Why?
I love my Apple Extreme Wireless Router!
It took less than 5 minutes to setup and works for both PC & Mac!

Have always liked separate, DSL modem, router and Wireless units. You don't have single point of failure. I use the DSL modem from AT&T, Linksys router and Cisco 1200 Wireless unit for it's strong encryption.

The router also has built in Wireless but I have it set to never-never land and have it unencypted to be Honey pot for people doing wireless scans.

I signed up online and at the time AT&T had a "special" and I received the 2Wire Gateway for free. It works fine.
