No, but we do get the $8,000 tax credit. Most of the 1986 home is actually from the early 2000s - the roof, appliances, a/c and heater units, etc...

Congrats! yea, that $8K tax credit is nice. I bought my house one month before that passed so tough cookie for me.

I was in Katy today and thought it was pretty nice.

Yeah, it splits the difference my wife and I drive to work almost precisely in half. We close and get the keys on the 19th so they have time to finish moving out.
