Yeah, Murph, one of the schools here was just closed but they shut down until May 18th! I wonder how they determine how long they are closing? I figure it's a matter of time before my kids will be home...of course they are just being babysat anyway...end of the school year and absolutely nothing is happening except games and movies...

1st Annual Pig Flu Vacation!

I suppose it's for the best, but it seems like overkill.
They shut down 'MayFest' here. At the very last minute! Hours before it was to open!!!

In New Braunfels yesterday, they had Landa Park completely closed, with park rangers stationed to keep people from wandering in. Murph, which districts?

Every school in Guadalupe and Comal Counties is closed till the 11th. People are going to start having to use up all their vacation to stay home with the kids due to the hysterical over reaction.

I know -- my kids are both still going to school there because I wanted them to be able to finish out their school year, so they have been going to work with my parents all week. I suspect they'll be here working with me next week.

I was just wondering if SA had jumped on the bandwagon yet.

The school dist's that followed the orignal CDC guidlines shut down for a week, then late on friday the CDC said they should shut down for two weeks

Why don't they treat drunk driving with this amount of seriousness? Responsible for more deaths and it's totally preventable.

I am just so glad that HEB hasn't shutdown. My daycare follows their schedule. I have zero idea what I'd do with my kids for that long!
