I'd suggest taking a photography class at one of the many community colleges that offer classes. I know at least one of the TCC campuses does, and typically when you enroll you have reasonable access to the dark room whenever you want.

TCC NE Campus offers it and I have to say what a great lab they have set up there.. One huge dark room with space for over 20 people in there and a second dark room with about 10 - 15 more spaces available.

It's cheaper i think to register and join a class there than to go elsewhere..

I suggest taht if you sign up speak to the director of the photography.

Richard Doherty..

Let him now you want to do a Independant Study.. so you don't have to attend a class. Then you can pretty much just come and go...

It's great I've done it...

I cant remeber everyones names there but everyone is very cool. If its the same guy running the lab.. It might be Paul.. he is really cool and one of the instructors with the long hair he's another great guy..

But just talk to Richard...he is very cool.

I was actually thinking of going back and taking his Portraiture class. I need to learn about studio lighting and setups and that fun stuff...
