Model Shoot in Deep Ellum - 10-20-2005, 03:25 PM

Here' are a few from yesterday's shoot with Jennifer. Thanks to Brad for the help! I have about 200 to go through these are just a few I thought I'd share. They still need a little post production work so critique them for what they are.

Thanks!

The colours in her dress and the walls work really well in the first two - like them a lot.

Thanks. I know the third is a little blown out so I'll have to work on it. I probably hava a better one to choose from once I get to go through them all.

Thanks for the comments.

Nice colors! I like her smile in the last one... it's the most relaxed. I think she might scrunching up her face a little too much in a few of the other shots... it wrinkles her forehead a little, hehe :P

Sure. It works in B&W, but really the colors is the best thing about that photo.

Love that curtain photo.. wish I'd shot some at that location. :)

Surprisingly, I like that in B&W, too... but I agree, the colors really shout out in the first version.

That was a lot of fun, feel free to ping me again next time, with Jennifer or not.

the problem I don't like about the B&W picture and its color version is her facial expression

#1,
my 2cents if worth anything. It's colorful.... but flat. Background draws more attention than model. Use Burn &dodge to balance the uneven flash, play with selective color to bring out the context. I kinda like this pic, B&W with soft filter effect would be awesome.
