I think it would take off very well. You seem to be a natural born teacher, and I always love reading your posts because you offer so much technical information about the photo in question.

And unfortunately I work on Sundays so I can't ever make it over to Cap'n Toms seminars...

I'd be very keen to join this pilot workshop/sharing session. Would love to help in the build and gain a lot of learning in the process. I'll definitely be on the lookout for any postings/PM's on the subject.

Paco, thank you for the software i got from you. :-) These pics are great. You just convinced me to go ahead and spend $$ on some strobist equipment.

Regina, I highly recommend getting older Nikon flashes. They are very good and easy to find on craigslist. Try the SB-24, SB-25, SB-26, SB-28. I use craigzoom.com to search multiple cities at the same time. There are other Craigslist searchers out there. These flashes will give you excellent off-camera service, together with some remote triggers, like the Cactus or PW if you've got the cash.
