My first thought was "Poor girl only has one leg!" :)

I think you need to turn down the flash a little. There's quite a bit of reflection on the bike coming back at the camera. The foreground flash is a little over powering.

My first thought was, are you trying to showcase the bike or the girl. If the girl was the main object I would have put her closest to the camera.

Shes a dirt bike racer and she wanted to picture with her bike. I thought it be a good setup.

Her hat is on crooked.

Is your flash on camera? Any possibility to get the flash off camera?

I agree. She needs to be either on the bike or in front of it. I can see how she'd want to avoid the trophy girl feel, but she can still look tough in front of the bike.

if she is a dirt bike rider, have her dressed in her riding gear and in front of her bike.

I'd try to get the bike stand either moved to the other side or removed all together. I also think this really calls for some OCF...

Edit: Idea: Wait until it's a bit darker, set your camera on a tripod with a 10 or 15 second timer, have her stand VERY still, and pop the flash manually a few times from a couple of different angles and do some 'light painting'.

cool shot...but having only one leg and behind the bike is a bit weird for me
I'd place her infront of the bike so you can see both of her legs and the rest of her lower body

Hey Roy,
The pose is a matter of taste - some will like it, some will not. IMHO you need to be more concerned with the exposure. This image looks "washed out" by the flash. If you get a chance, try it again with a tripod, widest aperture possible, 1/30 shutter. Only add flash to that mix if you absolutely need to.
Also, I'd clone out that telephone pole way in the back. Easy to do.
For what it's worth...

place her on the bike, in some gear (bikinis are always a favorite with dirtbikes! j/k), and wait for her to attack a berm or jump.

try to get her roostin' some dirt!
