Did a practice session with some Strobist-style flash this afternoon. Only had a few minutes with my son, was in a hurry, and forgot to check the ISO. I usually zero my settings after each shoot, but I failed to do so last time. Numnuts here ended up shooting the whole session at... wait for it... 1600.

Made the best of it by converting one of the images to b/w before trashing the whole set.

Yup - I use the 'reset' feature on my D80... it's something someone told me to do way back when... it's saved my butt a couple times fortunately.

I should know better by now, and I always remember to check things before a paid session.

test shots, check the monitor, double check all settings then I am off. Usually because I forget my ISO setting. :(
