Well, I'm gonna be the bad guy and say it looks way overdone to me. There is no texture left at all. I'm on a less than perfect monitor, so I'll look again when I get home.
I just outlined my PS steps for skin in this thread: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...d.php?t=109767
Take a look if you are so inclined..it might be of interest.

It looks just like an Olen Mills photo. I don't know if that is good or bad. But that is what I thought of.

Too soft, in my opinion. Perhaps, the fingers and hand needed some help as well. Nonetheless, if your client likes it, then it is good!

I don't see any texture either. But it seems thats what the thing is these days. Plastic.

I was trying to avoid the plastic look, I want a little bit of texture. I think changing the size has something to do with it too... Thanks for all the feedback everyone, I appreciate it.
Thanks Lonnie
Wyatt, I'll check out that other thread too.

I asked her before the shoot, she said the smoother the better, I think she will be happy with it.

Looks too smooth to me too, especially in comparison to her hand. I think just adding a bit of texture back would make it perfect, but not TOO perfect. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
