Great series! The only nit I have to pick is on #1, the background is a little busy for me and my eye is drawn to the blue wall meeting the yellow wall and subsequently to the pallet laying there(I'm probably the only one that will say that). All in all a beautiful set! Makes me want to go buy a 135 f/2.

Overall a pretty good job. In my opinion the first image is the worst in several ways. The pose is very unflattering to the subject and the background is a bad choice. I notice on several you posed the subject square to the camera. That might work on someone with an anorexic figure, but for the average female that tends to widen them in the mid-section. And when you do turn the body it is best to not photograph square into the shoulder as this tends to make the shoulder and upper arm look large.

Also in my opinion variety of expressions is as important as variety of poses and variety of backgrounds. This series all have the same expression.

I just had an eyegasm. Love them all. Especially 7 & 9. I always look forward to your posts. I live in your neck of the woods (Stonegate). Are your location shoots close by?

Nice. Is the bg in #1 significant or relevant in some way? No teeth?

thanks guys for all your comments....I agree with some of them..busy background are what makes Urban locations :) thats why I shoot them for depth and texture....I agree never square to the camera unless you have a very good reason and in this session I had my reason...clothing choice, arms and other distracting elements that made for distracting and unflattering posing...and as for teeth, she was an awkward smiler and did not like her teeth therefore quiet smiles were in order :)..

thanks again for the comments I really appreciate it :)

I was just going to say that I like how you took window units and made them work...
