Austin Street performer - Haunting eyes - 03-17-2010, 03:51 PM

I didn't get to shoot much except work related things, but this young lady just captivated me. She sat at 6th & Brazos all day, her expression never changed. Her stare and dead, deep eyes were almost haunting and her hodge-podge clothes and worn out boots told a dozen stories of their own.

Wow ... very moving shot. Hard life view ... did you ask her any questions and get a small story from her?

I aked if I could take her picture and I dropped a dollar in her case. She never said a word to me and just nodded her head. I didn't push for a conversation and throughout the day I never saw her say anything to anybody. And that haunting expression never changed.
