We were at a hotel on the riverwalk and there was an orange lamp next to an deep red/orange wall so I had my wife stop for a second so I could snap one. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I think it needs some fill light to camera left.

I agree; but walking around the hotel I didn't have anything to use so I just winged it. :)

yeah, I would have tried for a different spot. It's a little to dark on her right side.

Mike, watch for catch lights in "both eyes". You can add one in post, but if she had turned her head a little to her left, it might have helped.

I like it. I see what the others are saying about the darker side of her face, but whatever. It does appear she didn't know what to do with her hands (few people do). Maybe just a quick posing of them for next time would make your image that much stronger. Remember the "rule" of female hands: don't have the backs of them directly toward the camera, as it would make them look bigger than they are.
