Very nice practice session. I think a reflector low from in front of her would have gotten a little more light into her eyes.

Thanks!!!

I bet that would help. Maybe low reflector, opposite angle from the light side. I'll have to set that up and see ifI can get her to go again. She is going out of town this morning though.

Did a litte bit of face cleanup in photoshop here to remove some little blemishes. I don't think it is immediately noticible, but I think the subtle change is an improvement in the photo....

#5 and the last two you posted today at 11:08 are my favorites. Very lovely model and good use of colors! You may want to look into color processing in your digital workflow, as her color skin changes from one image to another... thanks for sharing!

Really like the last two.

Something does seem a tad off in your color balance.
I think you need more yellow or less blue/red.

These are goodfun and great experience for sure.
I would have her hold a reflector in her lap out of camera view or off to camera right (her left)....

For situations like this to correct the dark ratio I would use the "Fill" or "Brightness" slider in Adobe Camera RAW or Lightroom. It should bring back the shadow side...
