Thanks everyone!

Equipment: d700, nikon 80-200 2.8, except for kids pictures (baby, boys inside) those were with a 50 1.8..

Txshooter - I might take you up on that offer. Brad made a comment about feeling like the Vietnam era vets coming home with just a family member there to celebrate ... So I'm going to try to round up friends and families to meet his plane when he comes in.

I'm PROBABLY flying up to El Paso mid month... He'll get in, but has to go to leadership school for 2 weeks before he gets to come home.. So we'll get to have a 'just us' reuniting and then one with the girls... Tori will be pretty much 'whatever'... But Sarah will be estatic! That is gonna be an awesome shot.. Lol..

Thanks everyone... I've got about 130 awesome images - obviously I couldn't post them all here... But friend me on fb and you can see the rest.

Dear Donna:

Thank you for sharing such powerful and meaningful shots. They made me pause, reflect and count my blessings thanks to the sacrifice from our nation's warriors and their families.

I wish you a wonderful reunion with your husband.

Tri

Very moving. You did a great job capturing the emotions.

Why is the camo pattern "digitized" like that?
Dennis,

RE: Camo Pattern, the Army has a research branch that is constantly working to improve all aspects of soldier life in the field. This pattern is the result of many years of research that showed it to be the best for blending in with one's environment. I.E. It is the best all around pattern for making one invisible.
