Looks to me like you had a high ISO.

hard to tell if oof or high ISO or neither. Really depends on how it was compressed for the web and how much our forum board compressed it also. Always better to host an image on flickr or a similar site then direct the image here.

With that out of the way, the image has a lot of potential. The area just to the camera left of her face seems overblown. If you had some fill flash or a reflector, you could have lessened or eliminated that. The other thing I notice is that the crop is just a bit too tight. I think she is in the doorway of an old pickup or something, but at the same time, I can't quite tell. Is the green thing going thru her arm part of the door or is it a green sign post? I think if you pulled back a little bit, this would be a stronger image. Just a few things I noticed. Hope that helps.

Hey Jon, thanks for sharing your work. I really like this image, mostly because of the color palette - her shirt, makeup, the background and the frame of the door she's leaning on all match in cool tonality - she stands out as the focal point (even if she's not sharp) because of the contrast of her warm skin tones against the cool colored surroundings. This makes the image balanced and easy to look at. I also like her confident, comfortable expression and attitude in front of the camera. Vivian is beautiful and you've photographed her well!

Keep on sharing!

I like the photo as well. And though it isn't too sharp, I agree with Paco on the composition.

Her smile doesn't look forced and she seems relaxed.
