Wrapping up my first calendar year in business (April next year will be the 1-year anniversary) and I'm on track to end in the black! (Exciting for me considering I bought gear, a computer, and software, along with countless books and props, and working part-time.) Next year I'm looking forward to getting a salary.

I haven't been posting much the last few weeks but here are some shots from my recent sessions. C&C is always welcome and appreciated.

These are pretty much all very nice Amanda.

#6 It doesn't look like you were using a tripod here, abit soft. I'm also not digging this pose, to normal, have some more fun, push yourself and your subject.

#7 Watch those little details, clothing tag in the back. Love the light your getting in the eyes.

#11 Cute smile, but not digging the overexposure, skin looks bad and no retouching.

Thanks Ernst. No tripod on the senior, that photo looks worse here than on the original. Posing is definitely a weak area for me that I'm working on.

Is it the texture or skin tone on the baby that looks bad? I actually did do some pp on that one; I'll post a before/after later.

Thanks for the critique.

on #7 the first thing my eye hits is that huge bright white area. I'd get rid of that somehow.
