My daughter.

And yes - I do have a shotgun kept around the house for "cleaning purposes" only.

Strobist Information (First Image Only).
Single SB-600 just to the subjects front fired via CLS and SB-800 commander into a 24"x24" portable softbox on a stand just to give some fill and a little sparkle to the shot. Softbox just out of frame, camera left.

You have a beautiful daughter!

Image 2 and 4, the eyes seem a bit over done.

Image 2, underneath her right ear, her neck hair is catching a bit of light, possibly dodge/burn it?

Image 4 seems like...'Dad, are we done yet?' :)

Love number 1. Looks like she is in a painting.
Great pose on number 4, but would like a little better expression. The eyes look a little overcooked on these shots. Nice use of light, though.

Thanks for the wonderful comments and feedback. I appreciate the insight.

It is interesting the how each individual sees different details and has their own preferences. My daughter (and to some extent her generation) often prefers a "more heavily processed" look. I am trying to strike a balance between what she likes and my own sensibilities.

Again, Thanx.

Beautiful girl--she gets her looks from her mother, right?

Very nice work. I agree with the earlier comment about the "okay Dad...are we done yet?" expression. My daughter usually goes straight to that phase...
